“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is
given” Isaiah 9:6
Levi Yosef Levy was born to Sol and Rayah on April 23, 2006. He is 6 ponds and 11 ounces of long-awaited joy. We were in labor for over twenty hours. It was long and at times painful…for Rayah, too. This birth was an auspicious moment for us because seven years ago to the day my father, Levi, was laid to rest on the Sunday after Passover. When I called my mother on Sunday, I told her “Levi was born this morning.”
