Phenomenal Israelite Women

The Phenomenal Israelite Women of New York successfully brought all the congregations in the New York area together during Hanukkah to honor the great female leaders of our community together!  This wonderful event took place at Mt. Horeb Congregation, Bronx, NY on December 13^th. Rabbi Debra Bowen and a delegation from Philadelphia were also in attendance.  Please see video highlights of this event on this link in Youtube.  

In February the Phenomenal Israelite Women of New York held a Rosh Kodesh service at Beth Elohim. Following this service they raised a donation from the Israelite community to help disaster victims in Haiti.
