We are pleased to announce that Rabbi Ya’aqov Walker, one of our rising stars, has accepted an offer to be the interim rabbi at Congregation Beth Israel in San Angelo, Texas. This congregation was founded in 1928 and is one of the oldest synagogues in Texas.
Rabbi Walker is a recent graduate of the Israelite Academy. He will divide his time between his responsibilities in Charlotte, North Carolina, and Texas. Rabbi Walker looks forward to teaching and bringing new people into the light of Torah.
