This year our music critics have recommended three exceptional artists whose songs lift the spirit and inspire the soul to contemplate higher things. Lizz Wright emerged out of the gospel tradition and has won acclaim as a Blues vocalist. Her song “God Specializes” is especially comforting to people facing health challenges.  Gregory Porter is blessed with a melodious voice and he is backed up by accomplished jazz musicians. His original song “Take Me to the Alley” addresses the problem of poverty in a deeply spiritual way. L’ Chaim OG lives in Israel and creates positive rap music that beautifully blends Torah concepts with hip hop beats. The song “Save the World” is a wonderful sample of his immense talent.
