In these very troubled times, our community’s survival is at risk. There has never been a time that has demanded our solidarity more than right now. We must figure out how to work within our framework to resolve our community concerns. With that in mind concerned Israelite citizens from across the Israelite spectrum have called for a Town Hall meeting to discuss such topics as:
- Self-Defining Nomenclature – Israelite, Hebrew, Jew, Hebrew Israelite, Black Jew…. What does this mean to us and how does it affect us?
- The rise of tension between African American’s and European Jews. Do we have any part in the issue of Anti-Semitism?
- How can we discuss, plan and move on with civility despite doctrinal differences?
We pray to make this a continued forum so bring your ideas for future topics.
